Marketing & Events ManagerLeeds City Centre
Part Time (32 hours) - Salary circa £27,500
My client, a highly successful resturant & cocktail bar based in Leeds City Centre are looking for a Makreting & Events Manager to join them.
The Marketing and Events Manager is responsible for developing PR and marketing plans that communicate key messages to promote the business.
The role includes creation and delivery of all marketing material using all forms of social media and communications, building and maintaining exceptional customer relationships.
You will be looking after the full process of arranging the famous showtime eventsand ensuring they appeal to their customers and run seamlessly on the day.
Key Responsibilities- To contribute to and develop a marketing strategy and implementation plan to help increase customer numbers.
- Liaise with the management team on a daily/weekly basis, providing details of up and coming events, ensuring all bookings can be correctly planned, staffed and resourced.
- Work with social media outlets to post, update and amend as necessary all social media streams
- Work with the team to produce and design all menus (including special event menus), prior to submitting for printing. Ensure the menus are then launched on time and all content and amends are correct.
- Maintain and manage our company website content with innovative ideas to drive sales.
- Book all showtime acts, negotiate rates, obtain & sign off contracts and liase with all agents.
- Regularly conduct research on the local market and develop and implement ideas to maximise revenue.
- To create partnerships with local corporate businesses to increase event sales.
- Communicate with independent restaurant/bar reviewers when required.
- To overlook all digital and social media streams to ensure the business is being properly represented at all times.
- Alongside the FOH/Restaurant Manager ensure all complaints are responded to and the appropriate measures taken to ensure the customer returns in the future.
- Mange corporate booking enquiries alongside our reservations team

- A minimum of 3 years marketing experience, ideally in hospitality
- Proven experience of developing a successful marketing strategy
- Marketing qualification
- Diploma level or higher
- Experience of digital content & social media
- Experience of working in a fastmoving environment, with an ability to handle numerous projects with competing deadlines and priorities
- Experience and knowledge of print buying, publishing, copywriting and editing
