Full time Monday to Friday - on call every other weekend - additional retainer payment made for this
Salary:
£28,000 - £30,000 Dependent on experience

Our client is a long established Manned Guarding Provider. Starting as a small family run business and growing into a successful medium sized business. Our customer believes in providing a high quality of service and is passionate about driving standardsin the Guarding Industry.
They are looking for the right person to join their management team as a Deputy Operations Manager who shares the company's passion and drive for excellence.
The opportunity is to work as an integral member of the team and provide day to day support to the existing Operations Manager.
You will be the first point of contact for callouts during the day and assist with dealing with any incidents, concerns or issues which may arise.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Assistant Operations Manager:
- Assist the Operations Manager with day to day administration.
- Conduct Staff welfare visits as required.
- Attend client meetings as required.
- In conjunction with the Operations Manager, ensure that sufficient staff are on duty at all times and ensure cover and overtime payments are recorded.
- Ensure that staff follow all procedures as per the Assignment Instructions.
- Assist with routine investigations and ensuring daily reports are compiled in a timely manner and to a consistent standard.
- Arrange Staff training as required.
- Carry out VPI inspections and respond to alarm calls as required.
- Maintain business fleet ensuring vehicles are roadworthy, fully charged/fuelled book vehicles into garage for servicing/MOT's etc.
- Ensure security equipment is in serviceable condition prior to each shift starting.
- Ensure that all absences are reported to the Operations Manager and recorded.
- Assist with any shift enquiries/changes as necessary.
- Support the Operations Manager in carrying out annual team appraisals.
- Guide and support operational staff with any concerns, issues or welfare needs.
- In conjunction with the Office Manager, reordering of any uniform and equipment as necessary.
- Handover any concerns to Operations Manager.
- Responsible for ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Hold a current and
valid SIA Licence in an appropriate sector with a minimum of 9 moths validity remaining - A
full UK Driving licence is essential, as some of the client locations will not be accessible by public transport - Be of smart and professional appearance
- Be an excellent communicator
- Have a flexible approach to working
- Computer literate especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Have a minimum of **1 year experience in a Security Supervisory role
