Are you excited about having a positive impact on the lives of students dealing with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges? We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Behavioural Support at an SEMH School in Bath.


About Us:

Our SEMH School is dedicated to establishing a caring and inclusive learning environment for students encountering behavioural obstacles.

We adopt a nurturing and therapeutic educational approach to ensure each student gets the needed support to excel academically, emotionally, and socially.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEMH needs closely, offering one-on-one assistance and direction.
  • Apply personalized behaviour management techniques and interventions.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and external organizations to create and execute tailored learning plans.
  • Cultivate a positive and secure learning atmosphere for students, enhancing their social and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor and evaluate student advancement, giving regular feedback to the school team.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience working with students with SEMH requirements in an educational environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Sound grasp of behaviour management methods and strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work harmoniously within a team.
  • Relevant certifications or training in behaviour support or related fields are beneficial.

All pay rates mentioned will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary role, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position in the future.
