Are you excited about having a positive impact on the lives of students dealing with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges? We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Behavioural Support at an SEMH School in Bath.

About Us:

Our SEMH School is dedicated to establishing a caring and inclusive learning environment for students encountering behavioural obstacles.

We adopt a nurturing and therapeutic educational approach to ensure each student gets the needed support to excel academically, emotionally, and socially.

Role Responsibilities:

Support students with SEMH needs closely, offering one-on-one assistance and direction.
Apply personalized behaviour management techniques and interventions.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and external organizations to create and execute tailored learning plans.
Cultivate a positive and secure learning atmosphere for students, enhancing their social and emotional well-being.
Monitor and evaluate student advancement, giving regular feedback to the school team.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Prior experience working with students with SEMH requirements in an educational environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
Sound grasp of behaviour management methods and strategies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capability to work harmoniously within a team.
Relevant certifications or training in behaviour support or related fields are beneficial.

All pay rates mentioned will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary role, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position in the future.
