Job Description:


To assist in the development and monitoring of Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) systems and controls to ensure legal requirements and Company defined targets are met.


Key Responsibilities & Tasks:


  • Investigate accidents and near misses, identify corrective and preventive actions and follow up their implementation recording necessary information for reporting
  • Provide information and advice to management and employees in all areas of Health, Safety and Environmental issues and compliance
  • Manage regulatory assessments and statutory inspections of equipment as required.
  • Develop and implement management procedures for control of Health, Safety and Environmental issues
  • Conduct training on Health and Safety
  • Routing health monitoring of employees
  • Bulk ordering and distribution of safety shoes
  • Undertake project work

Person Specification:


  • Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental issues and legislation
  • Good communicator with confidence to deal with all levels of personnel in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Ability to work on assigned projects from conception to implementation with limited supervision
  • Persistence to ensure tasks are completed correctly
  • Flexiblility in working hours

Qualifications:

Degree qualified preferred.

NEBOSH certificate essential as a minimum.

Willingness to undertake further study.

Expected Start Date:
July 2023


Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon - Thurs and Fri with a 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak
