With a multi-million-pound investment transforming Future's hazardous waste treatment and recovery services in Honiton, an exciting position has risen for a new Waste Transfer Operative.

This is a full time, permanent role reporting to the Transfer Station Supervisor. Much of the work is conducted outdoors and involves bulking and sorting wastes for shipment and final disposal.

You will be required to operate a forklift truck; assist with waste collections on occasion and work well within a small team.

You must be conscientious to work as part of a team, demonstrate strong awareness of compliance with environmental as well as health and safety issues.

- £11.03 per hour Monday to Friday, £16.55 per hour for Saturday and £22.06 per hour for Sundays
