Description

We are in a position to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Divisional Lead Psychologist, to join our team and to contribute to the provision of systematic and high quality specialist clinical psychological services across our Community Care Division.


Our community Care Division hosts our NHS Adult Talking Therapies service (formerly IAPT), various Children and Young People's Mental Health Services as well as other Psychology services.


The post holder will be an integral part of the divisions senior leadership team and will be accountable to the Divisional Director and responsible to the Chief Psychological Professions Officer.

Part time hours and a job share will be considered if requested.


Lead role in ensuring the provision of effective professional and workforce development leadership for psychology services workforce across the Division.


In partnership with key stakeholders identify and develop improvement initiatives with regards to social inclusion, integration, personalisation, public mental health and equality and diversity.

Promote divisional achievements nationally, regionally, locally and internally in relation to psychological services.

To develop strategies, policies and organisational systems to implement effective service governance and development across services.

To provide a source of expertise in the management and development of services within the Division.
