Job Description:

The Opportunity


Our finance team at Wood Mackenzie covers a wide range of different finance functions covering financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, financial reporting and audit, treasury, taxation, accounts receivable and payable, and payroll.

The team contains over 70 finance professionals worldwide who cover all these finance functions within each of the countries our companies operate within.


About the role:


Gain hands-on experience in a variety of different finance functions and disciplines and develop a deeper understanding of how the finance function contributes to a world-class energy and consulting organisation.

Get exposure to

  • Financial Analysis: Assist in financial data analysis and modelling to support business decisionmaking, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

Financial Reporting:

Contribute to the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.


Accounts Receivable and Payable:

Work closely with the finance team to manage accounts receivable and payable functions, which may involve invoice processing, reconciliations, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.


Taxation:

Working with the tax team to assist with the various tax reporting, filing and payment obligations across the group and assisting the tax team in meeting each of these obligations.


Treasury:

Assist the treasury team in the preparation of bank reconciliations, daily cash reporting and preparation and maintenance of cash flows.

Qualifications:


Requirements:

Studying towards a Bachelor's degree or professional qualification with a numerical, finance and/or economics focus

Applicants must have the legal Right to Work in the country this role is based in. We are unable to sponsor employment visas at this time.

Additional Information


We are a hybird organisation and there will be a minimum requirement to be in office at least - 3 days per week.
