QA SUPERVISOR / MANAGER

  • Working hours: Monday
  • Friday, 8am 5.30pm.
  • 30 minutes lunch time, but lunch is not paid for.
  • Wages will be paid every 2 weeks.
Job descriptions

  • Leading the Food Safety & Quality Standards on site.
  • Carrying out Hygiene Audits as well as carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly GMP Audits, raising nonconformances and following up the Nonconformances
  • Implementing and monitoring PRP and HACCP plan for the entire operations, report deviations and take corrective actions.
  • Leading the HACCP team and conducting process verifications and validations.
  • Performing verification of all HACCP paperwork ensuring it is kept up to date
  • Monitoring of CCP's and temperature records.
  • Overseeing maintaining of the traceability systems.
  • Performing verification checks of team members personal hygiene of the members in the high risk as well as high risk areas.
  • Training and developing production staff on food safety and food quality to equip them to maintain food safety standards within the Operations Department.
  • Investigating customer complaints and submit detailed reports.
  • Audit, develop QA systems and introduce new ones if need be.
  • Full responsibility over recalls/withdrawals including facilitating dummy recalls 2x per year.
  • Determine and monitor KPIs.
  • Managing the raw material specifications and ensuring the products coming onto site are compliant and ensuring the raw material risk assessment is kept up to date.
  • Writing and Issuing site procedures and workinstructions and ensuring that the documents in the operation are all version controlled.
  • Lead the site Internal Audits program and schedule ensuring the sites is kept up to date with changes in industry, legislation and BRCGS standard, and that the operation is consistently compliant to the written processes.
What's essential for us?

In-depth knowledge of BRC requirements.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience.
  • Well presented, professional individual with a cando, positive attitude.
  • English excellent (written & spoken).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and precise record keeping skills.
  • Qualified and competent at Internal Auditing systems and procedures, including effective and timely close out of actions.
