Corporate Tax Assistant Manager required to join an established Edinburgh-based Group Tax function.

Group Tax is a key function within the organisation's wider finance community, with responsibility for managing a wide range of tax payment, deduction and reporting.

Reporting to senior management, you will join a dynamic team of experienced tax professionalsproviding tax compliance services to a range of corporate entities.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns for submission
Preparation of tax accounting and quarterly reporting disclosures
Working collaboratively on strategic project work, including supporting with large transactions and systems/process improvement
Regular engagement with a network of contacts and senior stakeholders across the business
Investing in your own technical and professional development, building tax technical expertise and supporting colleagues from other specialist teams as required

You will be a newly or recently qualified Accountant and/or Tax Advisor (CA/ATT/CTA/ACCA).

You will demonstrate strong corporation tax compliance and technical skills, gained in either the accounting profession or within an in-house UK corporate tax function.

You will have excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of up-to-date tax regulation and accounting standards under IFRS.
