About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity for a Student Assessment and Certification Officer to join to join the busy Awards Team, based within the central Academic Registry to provide high level support to the Assistant Registrar (Award Ceremonies & Certification) in the preparation, production and publication of award certificates.

You will act as one of the senior administrative officers for one of the three Faculties (currently the Faculty of Health, Social Care & Medicine) in relation to the operation of Award/Progression Boards, including the organisation of interim scheme boards and the tracking of student assessments.


About You

AsStudent Assessment and Certification Officer, you will:

  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Have experience of administration
  • Be competent in the use of technology including Microsoft Office
  • Be able to deal with sensitive issues in a calm and efficient manner
  • Be able to adapt and work well under pressure
- have the ability to work independently to deliver high service standards as well as part of a team
- be self-motivated and highly organised
