The Executive Network Group's Logistics & Transport Division are currently recruiting for a globally recognised 3PL, who are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Barnsley as part of a globally recognised Ecommerce brandSalary:
Circa £60,000
Location:
Barnsley
Responsibilities:
- Preparing commercial reports on a weekly/monthly basis on progress
- Ensuring business cases are written to ensure accurate tracking of benefit
- Confident in presenting capex proposals to multiple stakeholders
- Manage the project life cycle ensuring agreed timescales, budgets and targets remain on track
- Management of risk, issues, and other project controls as appropriate
- Manage 3rd party suppliers to ensure value and quality of the product
- Maintains a strong customer focus in everything you do
- Must be able to use initiative and prioritise workload
- Supporting smaller lean improvement projects
- Present project proposals to internal colleagues and customers
- Takes full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and successful completion of assigned projects with their contract client
- Demonstrate a strong track record of delivering multiple projects to time and budget.
- Communicate to and influence the team, management, partners, suppliers and customers
- Monitor quality of project deliverables and ensure project objectives are met
- Support the Operational Excellence strategy within the Site
- Supporting/developing more junior project managers in business case writing and tracking of project benefits
- Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety requirements are met:
Essential:
- Demonstrate key commercial awareness and sensitivity (Desirable)
- Degree Educated (Desirable)
- Relevant Project Management Qualification (Essential)
- Previous project management experience with a focus on business case writing and financial tracking (4 to 5 years minimum experience ideally)
- Experience operating in an ecomm environment (Desirable)
- Strong ability to understand & interpret complex information
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of Lean/CI principles
