Are you ready to take on a key role within The Novium Museum team to help us deliver weddings and events in the stunning Guildhall in Priory Park, and deliver events at The Novium Museum? If you're passionate about building a career in the events industry, this might be the perfect role for you


A fantastic opportunity has become available and we're seeking an innovative and highly motivated Events Officer to join The Novium Museum and Guildhall team.

You'll have experience of managing events and weddings, ideally in a heritage organisation, and you will love helping couples have the wedding ceremony of their dreams on their big day.

You'll be confident, welcoming and diplomatic with potential clients and be committed to providing exceptional customer service.

You'll explore new event opportunities and use your creativity to plan and lead events for The Novium Museum and The Guildhall, including our annual Chichester Roman Week festival.

You'll enjoy rising to the challenge of trouble shooting before and during events, be a very well organised person and have a keen eye for detail.

You'll also contribute to the marketing of venue hire and events.


Normal working hours for this post are 15 hours a week, worked flexibly as required by the role, including regular weekend work for wedding viewings and wedding and event delivery.
