Rents and Service Charge Manager | Social Housing | Greater Manchester | Hybrid Working
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a housing association in Greater Manchester to recruit a Rents and Service Charge Manager.

This community based housing association are know for providing quality for their tenants and providing an excellent workingenvironment for its staff.


Role:

You will manage the rents and service charge division and improve performance.

Responsibilities;

  • Planning and successfully implementing service charges for new development schemes, and review the charging and budgetary arrangements
  • Managing the setting of rents and service charges for all tenures. Design effective procedures to update Open Housing and for service managers
  • Providing a comprehensive, accurate and timely assessment of rental collection performance. Identify and report against phased targets which reflect the impact of universal credit and rent free weeks
  • Oversee preparation of management accounting entries within set timescales for rents and service charges, voids and bad debts, facility costs and the Trust's leasehold, shared ownership, market rent and commercial properties
  • Facilitate budget planning meetings, and support Senior Managers' preparation of a budget report which considers team objectives
**Person:

  • QBE with rents and service charge management experience
  • Experienced team manager
  • Gravitas to work with colleagues at all levels within the organisation
