Mentor - Kettering, United Kingdom - Enable
Description
Do you understand anxiety? Do you have knowledge of Autism and Adhd? Experience at working with the local community and providing IAG? We are looking for mentors that can provide support in various different forms to young people that are socially isolated helping them move onto their chosen route.
No two days are the same, you could be providing 121 support or walking with a group in the countryside.
You need to be prepared to travel locally and be excellent at diary management.You need to have good local knowledge of the services that are in the area and be confident to handle groups of young people in social situations.
Employability, sports or craft skills will be an advantage in this role. Strong IT and listening skills are needed.You will be out and about meeting people in the local community as well as the office. You will need to be able to travel to Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough and Desborough.
You need to have experience and an IAG qualification level 2 or above or willing to gain this.

We are professional, agile, and our goal is to Enable was established in 2003 and has served the local community for 20 years.
We play a key role in ensuring the Voluntary and Community Sector has a voice within the relevant local planning and decision-making structures for employment and skills.
Our aim is to provide high quality, integrated employment, and skills programmes through a consortium of Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) providers, our members, in accessing funding to provide learning and skills programmes that meet local needs, where they are unable to do so independently.
Over the years we have become an embedded membership organisation serving the East Midlands providing a voice for the sector and successfully lobbying the Educational Skills Funding Agency to continue to support our Voluntary Community Partners in delivering high quality learning and skills to individuals.
We want to 'Enable' individuals, employers and community groups provide opportunities for people to bring their best selves to work and life.
