Description
We are currently looking for an ICS Care4Notts Project Coordinator to support the ICS People and Culture function.

The ICS People and Culture Function are looking to improve the workforce experience via a variety of different programmes including system portability, cultural development, inclusion and belonging, plus many more.

We are keen to bring the history of the Partner organisations together.

This is an exciting time to join the System's family, finding your critical role in ensuring our success.

The ICS Care4Notts Project Coordinator is a key member of the Integrated Care System Delivery Team and will be responsible for raising awareness and further embedding the widening participation agenda across Health and Social care organisations within the Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System.

The Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System is a partnership between the county's NHS and care organisations. The organisations and professionals have come together to form a family.

All parts of our family have different and vital roles, all rely on each other to maximise their potential, and all are equally valued.

When our local population need us to support their health and wellbeing, ensure high quality joined up care and to support their community, we are there.

When the NHS was set up in the 1940s its aim was to treat symptoms. But it has come a long way since then, supporting people to live healthier lives. This change is continuing along that journey and aims to make social care and health even more aligned. Our health is affected by many things - housing, unemployment, financial stress, domestic abuse, poverty, and lifestyle choices.

This is something that we need to look at through a partnership between the NHS, local government, and the voluntary sector.

Family isn't one size fits all and so we welcome requests for the flexibility and are open to being creative.

If you have the following knowledge, skills, and attributes, we would love to hear from you.

  • A qualification in youth work/youth development/IAG acquired through diploma or equivalent experience or training, plus further management knowledge or experience to degree level equivalent
  • A project management qualification
  • Significant experience of youth work/youth development, especially those hard to reach including delivering skills development.
  • Experience of working on/managing a distinct project where you can demonstrate excellent organisational and progression skills to meet deadlines and targets
  • Excellent communication skills written, verbal, face to face and online to effectively develop rapport with young people and establish appropriate relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeships pathways and other widening participation routes into employment
  • Knowledge of relevant, local community networks and provision for young people
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding practices and processes
