Job Title:
Yard Operative


Location:
HU7


Industry:
Manufacturing (non-food)


Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday


Pay:
£11.13 per hour


Responsibilities:


  • Yard Maintenance: Keep the yard clean, organised, and free from debris. Perform routine checks to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Packaging: Assist in the packaging process and making packaging.
  • Material Handling: Safely and efficiently load and unload materials, following established procedures to prevent damage and ensure accuracy.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the implementation of safe working practices.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve collective goals and contribute to a positive working environment.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work space.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
