Trainee Laser Estimator/Sales Person
Optima Metal Services is a Multi Metal Stockholder and Processor. We have recently expanded the business thus acquiring new sites in Corby and Great Yarmouth. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our friendly, valued team.

We are seeking a Trainee Laser Estimator/Sales Person to work in our manufacturing facility in Corby.

Skills and Experience

Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
Ability to read interpret Engineering Drawings would be an advantage
Experience in the use of AutoCAD and/or Solid works would be an advantage
Experience with all Microsoft Packages. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
High attention to detail, accuracy and quality
Presentable with a good telephone manner
Good organisational skills, able to work under pressure and to deadlines, prioritising and managing your own workload.

Areas of Responsibility

Liaise closely with our clients, maintaining good working relationships.
Estimate Laser cutting and Folding costs using our Sheet Metal/Laser software.
Offer quotations directly to customers ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Process and schedule orders to suit our customers' requirements.
Ensure customers' orders are completed on time and within budget maintaining

our high-quality standards
. Work closely with other team members on estimates
