TBCo is a purpose-driven company focused on designing a better tomorrow with warmer people and a cooler planet.

We create design-leading sustainable blankets, scarves and other lifestyle products that bring warmth whilst having a positive impact and are soon to be B-Corp certified.

Responsibilities will include:

Oversee the Merchandising team, leading on the strategic direction of the department.
Responsible for financial KPI planning from both a channel and category perspective.
Ensure OTB is managed in line with sales projections and an effective stock strategy is maintained.
Continually assess both risk & opportunity, taking necessary trading action in a timely manner.
Proactively drive new and innovative reporting approaches.
Work collaboratively with the Head of Product to create seasonal strategies for the division.
Build strong relationships with the Design & Buying teams to shape seasonal collections, balancing commerciality with seasonal design direction.
Effectively manage the merchandising team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback and empowering the team to be their best.
Display the ability to work cross functionally with key stakeholders across the business, including finance, wholesale and marketing.
Proactively look for ways to improve your knowledge and skill set.
Take on board feedback to identify key strengths as well as areas for improvement.
4+ years of merchandising experience.
Highly competent IT skills, particularly excel.
A strong attention to detail.
Strong numeracy skills, the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from large sets of data, as well as an understanding of forecasting methodology.
Commercial awareness

- show a strong understanding of the current retail market.

Ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
Previous experience of leading and managing a team.
A proactive mindset and able to effectively manage priorities.
Good team work and a willingness to help others.

Location:
remote working combined with 2 days a week at our Leith Studio, Edinburgh

Hours:
Mon-Fri, 8.30-5:00pm

Salary:
negotiable dependent on experience
