TBCo is a purpose-driven company focused on designing a better tomorrow with warmer people and a cooler planet.

We create design-leading sustainable blankets, scarves and other lifestyle products that bring warmth whilst having a positive impact and are soon to be B-Corp certified.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the Merchandising team, leading on the strategic direction of the department.
  • Responsible for financial KPI planning from both a channel and category perspective.
  • Ensure OTB is managed in line with sales projections and an effective stock strategy is maintained.
  • Continually assess both risk & opportunity, taking necessary trading action in a timely manner.
  • Proactively drive new and innovative reporting approaches.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Product to create seasonal strategies for the division.
  • Build strong relationships with the Design & Buying teams to shape seasonal collections, balancing commerciality with seasonal design direction.
  • Effectively manage the merchandising team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback and empowering the team to be their best.
  • Display the ability to work cross functionally with key stakeholders across the business, including finance, wholesale and marketing.
  • Proactively look for ways to improve your knowledge and skill set.
  • Take on board feedback to identify key strengths as well as areas for improvement.
  • 4+ years of merchandising experience.
  • Highly competent IT skills, particularly excel.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Strong numeracy skills, the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from large sets of data, as well as an understanding of forecasting methodology.
  • Commercial awareness

  • Ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
  • Previous experience of leading and managing a team.
  • A proactive mindset and able to effectively manage priorities.
  • Good team work and a willingness to help others.

Location:
remote working combined with 2 days a week at our Leith Studio, Edinburgh


Hours:
Mon-Fri, 8.30-5:00pm


Salary:
negotiable dependent on experience
