VAT Alignment Officer - Haringey (Temp Vacancy)

Pay Rate:
£20.10ph**
Full-Time (36 hours)

Job Purpose:

Contributes to the successful alignment of Haringey's VAT returns to HMRC.

This will include working to collate, review and update historic Purchasing (P.) card VAT submissions

Accountabilities:

Has the understanding, knowledge and ability to follow guidelines that ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work, Data Protection and other statutory requirements.
Promotes the Council's equality, diversity and inclusion values, upholding policies and practices that deliver effective and appropriate services fairly and without discrimination and in an inclusive way.
Undertakes other duties relevant to the post and consistent with the overall objectives and responsibilities.
Carries out duties in compliance with: HMRC requirements, Public Service Standards
