Description

We are looking for a house keeper who will work as an integral part of the unit team and be responsible for the co-ordination of patient facilities and services in the ward area, ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment at all times.

You do not require any previous experience in a health care setting, however, will need to demonstrate commitment to developing themselves to support the nursing team in caring for patients and ensuring the patient experience is a positive one.

Excellent customer care and communication skills are also essential for this post.

You will be required to work closely with contractors and support services departments.

You will assist in the monitoring of quality standards and be key in ensuring deficiencies are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.

You will work as an integral part of the ward team, and will be responsible for the co-ordination all patient facilities/services in the ward area and for ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment

The main elements of the role are contributing to a positive patient experience, ensuring the delivery of cleaning, catering and minor maintenance, together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs, as determined by the ward manager.

You will be required to work closely with contractors and support services departments and will assist in the monitoring of quality standards and be key in ensuring deficiencies are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
