Financial Accountant | Nottinghamshire| £46,000 - £53,300

Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with a large organisation (c900m t/o) within Nottinghamshire who are seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Accountant to bolster their Finance team.

Reporting into the Head of Finance this opportunity is initially for a contract of 18 months.

However even if you were looking for permanent roles this contract would still offer a long period of certainty for you and given the size of the organisation thereis potential for extension/ permanent opportunities in other teams.

Benefits:

- £46,000 - £53,300
- c22% employer pension contribution

44 days annual leave (including bank holiday)
Flexible working 2 days required on site with the rest from home option to be on site more if this is wanted
Open to part time on a 4 day per week basis

The Role

You will be the individual responsible for coordinating and preparing the statutory accounts for the group, key point of contact with auditors, owning the reporting processes as well as managing a small team (1 direct report, oversight of 3 heads total).

You will be working with senior directors in the organisation and so prior experience presenting and working with stakeholders would be highly valuable.

**Requirements
- **Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) - and current member

Experienced leading and coordinating year end processes (this experience within a medium to large sized organisation would be desirable)
Experienced liaising with auditors and being key contact through year end processes
