We are advertising for an Administrator for a busy inpatient ward based at Lambeth Hospital.This post is based on Florence Ward and is 1 of 7 inpatient wards on Lambeth Site. You will work within a busy ward-based environment, meeting and greeting patients and visitors.
The post will involve supporting the smooth running of the ward, including inputting data to ensure trackers and KPI's are up to date, housekeeping duties and supporting the nursing staff and the ward manager.
Meeting and Greeting Visitors / Professionals / Delivery Drivers / Take Away DeliveriesAnswering phones & Nursing team calls
Reporting Maintenance issues on Planet Fm
Stock order via Eproc / Viapath
Updating Epjs /discharging patients/ updating patient status
Updating various trackers
Dealing with Subject Access Requests
Digital Services Staff issues, reactivating logins, requesting password resets, printers etc.
Creating Booklets / Printing & Binding
Petty Cash holder
Minute taking
Printing Documents & posters/ Laminating.
Maintaining the Stationery / Clinic room stock cupboard.
Ad hoc duties to support the demands of the service.

An opportunity has arisen for an organised, proactive and efficient Ward Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support for Florence Ward, an Acute Inpatient ward at the Lambeth Hospital.
We are looking for somebody who has an administration background within the NHS setting preferably and is also a quick learner.
Good interpersonal written and oral communication skills, exemplary timekeeping and flexible approach to work is required for this post.The person must also have good computer literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel and Office 365) with the ability to meet deadlines and with experience of working in a busy office environment.
A good understanding of performance and activity targets as well as in-depth knowledge of ePJS would be desirable.Meeting and Greeting Visitors / Professionals / Delivery Drivers / Take Away Deliveries

Reporting Maintenance issues on Planet FM
Stock order via Eproc / Viapath
Updating EPJS data base /discharging patients/ updating patient status
Dealing with Subject Access Requests
Requesting shared drive access for staff
Digital Services Staff issues, reactivating logins, requesting password resets, printers etc.
Taking Business Meeting Minutes.
Printing Documents & posters/ Laminating.
Maintaining the Stationery / Clinic room stock cupboard.
Ordering dry goods and patient meals and keeping an overview of housekeeping.
Ad hoc admin duties
