Description
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader on behalf of a Huddersfield-based accountancy practice to join their forward-thinking business.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our office, ensuring the efficient delivery of services to our clients.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and excellent communication abilities.


Duties and responsibilities involve:


  • Completing weekly timesheets accurately
  • Managing a team of up to 15 members of staff
  • Attending networking events
  • Liaising with other team leaders and sharing workload to alleviate pressure when required
  • Producing and monitoring budgets for office revenues
  • Approaching the board with proposals for the office to deliver service to clients
  • Invoicing for work completed and ensuring those who also invoice do so in the correct timeframes
  • Updating the system with job stages, prioritising work and allocating jobs to staff to meet deadlines
  • Dealing with queries from clients and passing onto the appropriate member of the team
  • Review WIP and assisting in reducing the lock up time of WIP
  • Ensuring all documentation from the company is professionally presented using company templates
  • Developing strong relationships with clients, ensuring that clients are kept aware of any delays if timelines are not able to be achieved
  • Seeking opportunities and referrals

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Proven experience in a leadership role.
  • Financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and timemanagement abilities.
  • A good understanding of the fundamentals of accountancy principles and basic accountancy practices
  • Analytical skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
£53,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
