What is expected of you?
- Help manage the materials & production planning across all product lines
- Help to manage a weekly production plan by ensuring that are all materials have been correctly processed / ordered via suppliers.
- Work closely with New Product Development, Production Planning and Supplier teams
- Manage all raw and packaging material inventory levels
- Work closely with NPD on projects to ensure the material planning process is accurate and ready for new product launches.
- Regular review of stock holding at suppliers including management of stock levels for indirect goods
- Responsible for supply data input, analysis and management
As a successful SME going through sustained growth it is essential that the Supply Chain Assistant is a hugely proactive individual who will lead from the front and provide the following experience This position requires someone with excellent organisation, analytical and stakeholder management skills allowing an ambitious Graduate through to someone with relevant experience to be suitable.
- Confidence in building strong relationships with both internal & external stakeholders including suppliers is a MUST.
- Experience of managing large sets of data OR managing supply /production plans would be highly advantageous.
- Good knowledge of using Excel is required, ideally with some experience of working with a ERP/MRP or CRM system.
- Structured and organised approach to the management of work.
- Data savvy with a passion for analytics and data integrity
- Experience of working autonomously and able to meet and exceed targets
- Superb communication and stakeholder management skills
- Hugely proactive individual, able to think outside the box under pressure
