Events Officer - Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Temp role to start July 2023 until at least December 2023

3 Days per week, part time hours this role is hybrid working however will need to have own transport and be able to attend on event days and when necessary.

£34,500 - £37,000 (PR)

Leading in the development of Corporate Events and sponsorships and support the development of community events around the Council sites.

Roles and Responsibilities:

To lead the delivery of the corporate events programme
Work with partner to secure grant funding and sponsorship to reduce the level of subsidy for Corporate Events
Produce and update the Councils annual events calendar working with other sections
Develop Event Management Plans for Corporate Events
Manage the contract for the Councils Christmas and Remembrance decorations and lights
Ensure activity supports corporate objectives
Minimum of two years' experience in the delivery of events, including health and safety role

Skills / Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent in event management related areas with proof to support
Experience in managerial roles
To have experience in managing finances
Microsoft office and related packages
To have worked in areas requiring marketing promotions
