Pay rate:
£10-£15 p/h dependent on experience


Location:
Queen's Hospital, Romford


Duration:25/09/2021 (possibility for extension but no guarantees as the role is covering sickness within the team)


Working hours: 9:00 - 17:00 (some flexibility may be needed)

Please note - a DBS check is required to start in the position


Role overview
The team procure and manage the equipment on behalf of the Trust.

You will be part of this team carrying out day to day duties to ensure the smooth running of the department.


  • Answer phone calls on the help desk
  • Authorise invoice queries
  • Arrange service of medical equipment with external supplier and Trust staff
  • Attach service reports to jobs on the database
  • Receiving deliveries and update stock levels
  • Create on call rotas for Engineering team;
  • Engage with suppliers and customers
  • Raise orders
- engineers and trust/ PORF/FARFS reagents

  • Meeting and greeting visitors

Your qualification and experience:

  • Experience of working in a busy office environment;
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to deal professionally with customers and staff at levels;
  • A good degree of computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft packages and bespoke service management packages
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Must be able to work with people of diverse cultural background
  • A keen interest for working in health care
