We are delighted to be exclusively partnering with the Nylacast Group specifically supporting Supergrip UK in Darlington for the appointment of a newly created Technical Engineering Manager role due to expansion and new Projct wins within the Renewablessector.

Supergrip are also about to move into new state of the art facilities in Faverdale Industrial Estate, Darlington to ensure they can provide the highest quality service and products to their clients.

The Technical Engineering Manager role will involve managing a small team, and also working hands on with calculations, FEA studies and working closely with customers and the internal project team.

Brief Overview of Main Duties:

Ability to come up with Engineering Solutions for customers / Technical support for sales visits and enquiries.
Accurately complete calculations load & stress
Accurately complete FEA
Knowledge of calcs and weld codes would be ideal
Application development and design for manufacture
Work simultaneously across a variety of different projects
Produce detailed and accurate engineering drawings
Product test facilitation
Product development
Product conversion
Keep all documents up to date in accordance with the project and quality accreditations
Followup customer enquiries / queries in a professional and timely manner
Lead and develop the team
To travel both in the UK and internationally to customer sites when required
