Cappagh Browne is looking for a full-time Trainee Customer Officer to join the team
Role Purpose
To assist the Customer and Stakeholder Manager in ensuring jobs are planned and executed with due consideration of customers and stakeholders, such as to minimise negative impacts/ disruption on customers, allow effective and efficient working and enhance the reputation of CBUL and our clients.
Role Summary
Under the guidance and instruction of the Customer and Stakeholder Manager:
- Liaise with and assist team of Project Managers to obtain information re customer and stakeholder management required,
- Assist Project Managers with customer communications and complaints resolution
- Support in undertaking customer engagement and communications associated with access, worksrelated disruption etc.
- Undertake communication with customers in the process of sharing project information and complaints resolution.
- Assist in the develop project communications plans and impact assessments
- Assist in the delivery of liaison events with customers and stakeholders as required e.g., townhall meetings etc.
- Draft project communications (letter/ posters/ twitter etc.)
- Keep Client's Customers updated with progress prior to and throughout and after the works as required.
- Maintain close and positive relationships with the clients' communication teams.
- Keep up to date with the clients' customer and stakeholder communications standards and ensure CBUL methods and processes meet these standards.
- Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post
It is expected that a significant portion of work will involve travel by car to remote locations, so a full clean driving licence and a willingness to undertake travel with very occasional late finishes is required.

Experience Required
- No specific experience is required experience that involves dealing with members of the public would be a plus
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and apps e.g., twitter, LinkedIn etc
Essential Qualifications
