Test Technician - Sub assembly

Salary:
£29-31k

Hours of work:40 per week (8am - 5pm Mon to Fri)

We at Syntech Recruitment are pleased to offer an opportunity for a Finishing Operative / End of line technician to join a highly regarded engineering business based in Newbury, West Berkshire.


The daily duties of a Build Technician:

The role will undertake the testing, including full and sub-assemblies as well as maintain, support and develop the finishing / end of line area, processes and equipment.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking build quality assurance
  • Assembling and maintaining test rigs and test equipment
  • Maintain and develop the finishing and end of line working environment
  • Ensuring processes are followed
  • Providing advice to engineers


We would be willing to consider night/weekend shifts as well as the day shift so please confirm your preference when submitting your CV.


The Profile of a successful Build Technician:

  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical principles in automotive
  • Good understanding of test working practices.
  • Working experience in an engineering environment.
  • Excellent IT skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • A structured approach to problem solving.
  • The ability to interpret component part, assembly drawings and written documents.
