Job Purpose

Ability to consistently follow standard processes and procedures in order to maintain an efficient and safe working environment whilst operating outside in diverse weather conditions.


We are a 24/7 operation and this role works a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering a 24 hour period, 7 days per week.

Key Responsibilities*
Specific Responsibilities and Objectives

  • Perform accurate and efficient aircraft refuelling operations to a variety of aircraft utilising fixed wheelbase fuel bowsers.
  • Actively assist the Fuelling Supervisor with required with Quality and Standards control checks/measures.
  • Actively assist with overseeing safe, timely and efficient tanker deliveries in/out of the fuel farm.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety and adherence to LSACL, Airline(s) and regulatory bodies' processes and procedures, safe working practices are followed and maintained at all times.
  • Ensure any refuelling problems are managed with accuracy and efficiency ensuring that the Aircraft Dispatcher/Ground Handling Supervisor/Fuelling Supervisor are kept informed.
  • Ensure regular preventative maintenance within the operational environment (including but not limited to removal of FOD, Fuel Servicing equipment inspections/checks/cleaning).
  • Ensure that Fuel Bowser product levels are maintained within safety and operational requirements.
  • Ensure that all operational Service Level Agreements are met and maintained.
  • Work cohesively as part of the team so as to maximise cooperation leading to the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.
  • Actively monitor and record Fuel Servicing equipment serviceability and fault reporting.
  • Ensure a record of any incidents/accidents involving Equipment, Aircraft, Customers or Staff are
- reported immediately to your Line Manager and documented accurately as per LSACL, Airline(s) & Regulatory body policies and procedures.

  • Ensure all paperwork and administrative duties are completed with accuracy, in a timely manner and relevant information is forwarded where appropriate.
  • Comply with airport procedures at all times, keeping fully updated with changes to procedures or new procedures.
  • Provide and maintain an excellent standard of customer service.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Full driving licence

Desirable

  • Full ADR (In Tanks)
  • LGV class 2

Experience

  • A demonstrable background in the Aviation industry with specific knowledge of aircraft refuelling/servicing/airside operations.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Ensure all Airline Service Level Agreements/Key Performance Indicators are met or exceeded
  • All performance variances must be actioned promptly and honestly to ensure the integrity of LSACL
  • Compliance of all Regulatory Bodies, HSE, Airline(s) and LSACL procedures.
  • Leadership, Delivery and ownership of providing an excellent and efficient standard of customer service to both internal and external parties.
  • Ability to perform all tasks with accuracy, efficiency and in a safe manner within defined time constraints
