Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packer to join our team. As a Packer, you will be responsible for preparing and packing products for shipment. This is a vital role in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are properly packaged and ready for delivery.


Responsibilities:


  • Load and unload products from trucks or containers
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate stock
  • Perform basic quality control checks on products
  • Prepare packaging materials such as boxes, crates, or pallets
  • Pack products according to specifications, ensuring proper labeling and sealing
  • Assist with materials handling and organization within the warehouse
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred but not essential
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for operating machinery and equipment
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing procedures
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
  • Experience with picking and packing orders efficiently

Job Type:
Temporary contract


Pay:
£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
