Kent Foods are a leading distributor of food ingredients to U.K. and European manufacturers.

We are seeking to recruit a Purchase Order Administrator to join our order processing team based at our Head Office in Paisley.


This diverse role aims to provide a high level of customer service excellence whilst processing purchase orders that in turn will meet our customers needs.

This role demands a vast array of competencies and skills, together with meeting the high expectations and evolving demands of a diverse customer base.


The role:

  • Raising Purchase Orders
  • Ensuring these are confirmed and passed to transport team in a timely manner
  • Processing Stock Requests
  • Communicating with customers on order progress
  • Resolving queries with supplier invoices
  • Invoicing storage charges
  • Liaising with Account Managers on product prices
  • Updating Price File
  • Raising and reconciling Purchase Contracts
  • Liaising with Transport Department on collection and delivery on orders
  • Processing Customer Butter orders on Americold System
  • Arranging Transport of Butter Orders from Americold warehouse
  • Replenishment of Butter stock for Americold external warehouse and Hunslet Warehouse
Relevant Experience is required for this post.

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Reliably commute to Paisley, PA3 2RB

£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
