Description

Proactive Global currently is looking for a number of machine operators to join one of our customers based in Slough.

The role will be temp to perm or perm based on the interview feedback.

We are currently looking for a number of people to join the team.

Position Responsibilities

Operating all machinery in an efficient and safe manner
Running and maintaining the production of extrusion and coating lamination, including printing, ensuring all safety and quality procedures are followed whilst remaining on track with the production plan.
Professional setup, operation, and monitoring of the laminating machine for the production of multilayer composites.
Maintenance, cleaning of the laminating machine
Slitting material produced from the laminators and extrusion machines into tapes as per the customer requirement, following strict quality procedures.
Operate all production lines, after appropriate training.
Support and help in the crosstraining of other team members.
Covering holiday and sick
Control and optimization of production processes.
Independent monitoring of ongoing production
Adherence to time and quality requirements
Process the material through the ERP Styeline system
Ensuring that all company driven SOPs and instructions are followed.
Making sure all codes used in Syteline are accurate and correct.

More details:

£ £ depending on experience

Plus 33% shift allowance

42.5 hours week, paid 42.5 hours (lunch is paid)

3 rotating shifts Mon-Fri 05:4- 14:15, 13:4- 22:15, 21:4- 06:15 OR Mon - Wed , Monday - Thursday , depending on the business need.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata for 2024)
