Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Managing Editor to lead our global content team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience working in New Media.

As Managing Editor, your primary responsibilities will be managing editorial strategy, content creation, social media platforms and data analysis across different markets.


What You'll Do

  • Plan and manage the editorial coverage for 90min's content across different markets and editions
  • Ensure alignment of different departments to create a unique identity and tone of voice across written, social and video content
  • Promote cooperation between our different markets
  • Ensure all content is delivered in line with company KPIs and targets
  • Implement SEO strategies coordinated with our growth team

Requirements:


What you have

  • 5+ years of experience managing editors or editorial teams
  • Superb understanding of Social Media, content distribution and social growth
  • Expert knowledge in European football
  • Professional proficiency in English

Desirable

  • Personal connections to sports media companies and football talents
  • Active social media accounts with engaged followership
  • Professional proficiency in German, Spanish, French or Italian
