Prospectus is delighted to be supporting a leading national health charity who campaign, fund, research and support those living with diabetes.

They fund critical research, which has led to life-changing discoveries - like the first insulin pen and programmesto put type 2 diabetes into remission.

They are now searching for a Health Systems Engagement Manager to help play a key role in improving outcomes and reducing variation for people with, and at risk of, diabetes across the South East Coast in particular Thanet,Kent.

As our client's Health Systems Engagement Manager, you will deliver agreed plans to improve outcomes for people living with/at risk of diabetes by working to reduce variation and improve care, treatment, and prevention via influencing and partnership workingactivity.

You will build trusted relationships to increase understanding of diabetes and support health system professionals and communities to improve diabetes care.

You will monitor delivery of service provision and continuously gather frontline insightsand intelligence, actively listening to and working alongside people living with/at risk of diabetes to ensure their voice is heard within the system.

You will work with the Heath Systems Engagement Lead and other colleagues across South-East Coast and Londonand the wider organisation to drive sustainable changes for improvements in diabetes care utilising influence, support, campaigning and mobilisation as appropriate.

Please note, although this role is for the South East Coast and London this role will primarily have a focus within the South East Coast - Surrey, Sussex and Kent.

Travel across the whole region is essential and also travel into their central London officefor some training and quarterly meetings.
