The Role / Position Overview


Reporting to the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion, this role is to project manage and coordinate the roll out and evaluation of FT's Diversity & Inclusion strategy.


The D&I Advisor will work with various employee groups and internal stakeholders to coordinate initiatives that support the strategic people goals laid out in FT's Diversity & Inclusion strategy.

Being able to juggle multiple projects, administrative tasks, and competing timelines, alongside building effective relationships internally will be key to success in this position.

This is a position that will appeal to someone who is flexible, has good project management, research, and written presentation skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Diversity and Inclusion to coordinate the implementation of D&I related programs and initiatives across different business units and regions.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple diversity & inclusion projects and/or programs working collaboratively with cross functional partners and stakeholders.
  • Conduct research on best practices, and innovative ideas to address the unique challenges in different disciplines/regions.
  • Partner with our Employee Networks to help them drive initiatives that are linked to our overall D&I objectives.
  • Program management of D&I training activities alongside working with stakeholders to identify specific D&I training needs in different departments
  • Lead on tracking progress on measurable D & I goals.
  • Meet regularly with HR colleagues to coordinate and gain insights on initiatives to ensure activity stays relevant against current needs and is aligned with D&I strategy.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Must have experience of successfully coordinating HR programs at an organisational level. Experience in a HR diversity advisor role, organisational development, and/or change management is a plus.
  • Evidence of the ability to build effective HR and employee network relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Good project management and how to track and measure success skills
  • Powerpoint development, excel, and research skills
  • Comfortable adapting to changing demands and working with ambiguity to manage multiple work streams at once.
  • Must have strong coordination skills and possess the experience to provide considered recommendations to key stakeholders, business leaders and HR.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and deepen connections with underrepresented groups and communities.
