Office/Warehouse Trainee


Our lovely client who is a family business within the manufacturing industry, is looking for an Office/Warehouse Trainee, to straddle multiple departments and develop a long-term career.

The ideal applicant will work in multiple departments to understand the products and the operations of the business.

The end goal is for them to progress over time into a sales role, visiting clients on the road and supporting the Sales Manager.


The businesses manufacturing site is in Glasgow, so the small newly refurbished site near Keighley houses the office, assembly, warehouse, and dispatch.

The role will be very varied between; office admin, picking/packing, assembling products with a view to work more in customer services and sales.

The company describes themselves as a small family business who is relaxed, friendly and down to earth. They are a small close-knit team, honest and work in an open environment with no politics.


The is the perfect role for someone who doesn't want to go down an academic route and would like some 'on the job' training in a developed and specialist company with long term career potential.


Hours:
Mon - Fri hour lunch) 37.5 hours per week


Salary:
Starting on min wage with progression opportunities

Requirements:


  • GCSE Maths 4 and above
  • Proficient IT skills
