Description
Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Logistics Aviation person for a major Freight Forwarder based in the Colnbrook area.

  • Maintains and enhances customer services by ensuring procedures are followed and systems used correctly.
  • To take job orders from clients, that include routing, classifying of service type, establishing a deadline.
  • To assist in providing clients with continuous notification and followup (which includes flight and customs delays, proof of deliveries, charges, resolutions, etc).
  • Familiarize yourself with all special services we can offer and ensure customers are given all options available.
  • Ensuring communication with service partners is kept up to date.
  • Sending prealerts to overseas offices, service partners and customers.
  • Provide quotes to customers.
  • Follow any new systems procedures within the department
  • Help develop and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrate a "can do" attitude and show that you are prepared to go the extra mile for the customer
  • Monitor all shipments as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Check MAWB's for high costs and quote customer.
**Essential Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Industry related experience
  • Knowledge of international and domestic airline routings, geography and time zones
  • Understanding of the Aviation industry
  • Demonstrate efficient risk assessment, problem analysis and problem resolution capabilities
  • Understand the concept of customer care, and how to identify the root cause of problems and communicate issues with tack and diplomacy
  • Customer service experience necessary
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)

Tuesday - Saturday (Tuesday - Friday 11am - 8pm and Saturday 7am - 4pm)
