Description
Hey We're Huel and we're pleased to meet you We're going to start by talking about our exciting new sensory
Technologist position, but if you'd like the quick low down on us first including our growth story then just head to the bottom of this page

The role:

To help us continue delivering high-quality food, we're looking for a new
Sensory Technologist to join us.

This will be a very hands-on, innovative role that will see you take complete ownership of all sensory studies at Huel ‍.

You'll be the go-to person for any internal product investigations and experiments carrying out internal taste panels in our on-site sensory lab.

You'll build connections between sensory and physicochemical data, using science to understand what is driving preference in sensory attributes.

Working closely with NPD and Technical Managers you'll develop QAS' for all new products and existing product improvements whilst conducting organoleptic shelf-life studies to understand product/ingredient changes and define limits of acceptability

Not yet convinced it's the role for you? Well, then you can click

What we're looking for in you:

This role will best suit someone with around 1 years + of previous experience working in a Food / Ingredient Technologist position or even a dedicated Sensory role ‍.

We're not expecting you to know everything, we can teach you how to run a sensory panel, but ideally, you'll have worked with food before, and will be familiar with lab techniques needed to physically or chemically assess food products.

You'll be personable and able to build and maintain strong working relationships which is a huge part of this role.

You'll be someone who has great attention to detail and good data organisation skills which will help you to be process driven

What do we offer in return?:
And in return for all of your hard work and team playing, you can expect benefits that are tastier than our Salted Caramel Black Edition (and trust us, that's saying something)
