Your new team

This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business.

At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.

The Seasonal Host plays a key role in all our Brand Homes creating memorable and enjoyable experiences for our guests and visitors.

This is a unique opportunity to work in the Home of our world renowned brands at Pernod Ricard from The Glenlivet, The Original Speyside Single Malt to Strathisla - The Home of Chivas.

The team at each of our Brand Homes receives training to support the key role they play. You will work with the team to provide unforgettable memories for our visitors on a daily basis.

Your unique contribution

As a host your role is to be an ambassador for our whisky brands - Chivas - Strathisla and The Glenlivet and be the ultimate storyteller, creating memorable moments that guests will part with and share with friends; creating life long and committed consumers to our brands.

Hosts role will include conducting distillery tours, tastings, providing guidance in the shop and serving at the bar as well as the following:

Welcoming and providing an informative visit to the distillery whist ensuring the Health & Safety of our guests and visitors.
Conducting distillery tours, tastings, providing guidance in the shop and serving at the bar.
Acting as an ambassador for the company presenting the brands in a positive manner and contributing to brand promotion.
Adhere to stock and cash handling procedures at all times.
Restocking gift shop upon request from management.
Flexibility to work across all three Brand Homes to meet business needs and attend evening functions as required.

Who you'll be working with

Seasonal Hosts report to the Brand Home Management Team.
Seasonal Hosts work with the Brand Home staff and Internal Trade guests and external Brand Home Customers daily through the season.

Your blend of talent

Exceptional communication skills.
Team work as well as ability to use own initiative.
Passion for people.
Good interpersonal skills.
Smart in appearance.
Good working knowledge of distillery operations full training will be delivered if not.
Good working knowledge of Company brands and strategic markets.
Knowledge of cash handling procedures.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
Full driving licence (preferred due to remote location)
