Our client is looking for a Learning & Development Advisor for a 12 month contract position, located in Aberdeen (Hybrid Working)ROLE
The role will support the creation and delivery of the L&D programmes across our offshore workforce, ensuring the programmes run smoothly and deliver a quality service to our diverse workforce.
In doing so, providing further opportunities to develop knowledge, understanding and skills and to set a future path to manage the challenges of our energy transition plan.

It is suited to someone who enjoys a varied workload, is comfortable in a hands-on role and is adaptable to changing responsibilities from co-ordinating activities to creating learning modules.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This highly varied role supporting offshore, operational site(s) and office-based personnel across our global locations will include, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Co-ordinates programmes and scheduled events by arranging providers, issuing joining instructions, updating training records, payment of invoices, & collecting feedback
- Development of learning content using our eLearning authoring tool and other digital methods
- Manage first line queries from the shared development inbox
- Produce reports from our LMS
- Set up training events in the LMS and upload attendance from the training sessions
- Support the delivery our annual Festival of Learning
- Coordinating the implementation of Diversity and Inclusion and Well Being initiatives
- Support HR teams with specialist L&D advice on induction, performance management, L&D solutions, career development and talent management
- Deliver your areas of responsibility in line with budget
REQUIREMENTS:
- You will have experience in facilitating and organising L&D activities for an international audience, with a preference for experience dealing with remote teams.
- A progressive thinker, you will have experience in remote/online learning techniques and seek to devise and deliver new and innovative learning methods relevant to your audience needs.
- You will be highly organised with a keen attention to detail.
- You will have a passion for learning and development and will take pride in being part of someone's learning and development experience.
- You must be highly proficient in IT systems, particularly in programmes such as Office365 and Onboard Tracker would advantageous.
- Ideally you will have experience and knowledge of a Learning Management System and/or with digital content
- You will be a proactive person, willing to take on responsibility but also able to work as part of a team.
- You must be customer focused with a friendly attitude and be confident in communicating with all levels of personnel.
- Ideally you will have experience of dealing with global or highly diverse groups of people.
