Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking to recruit friendly, hardworking, enthusiastic people to work within our offsite Maternity Hubs supporting both our Community Midwives and our patients.
You will be required to provide an efficient reception/administrative service to the Community Midwifery Teams based in several hub locations across the trust including our new hub at Moulton Park between the hours of 8-6pm Monday to Friday.
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills will be required for this post as you will be expected to communicate well with all levels of staff and public.
You will also need to be flexible and have your own transport as you will be required to provide reception cover for the maternity hubs (currently based at Far Cotton and Billing Road) as and when required to cover holiday and sickness.

You will be part of a reception team providing a first class reception service to visiting patients and their families in additional to providing administrative support to the community midwives working on the site.
Ideally you will have had recent admin experience and will have excellent computer skills and organisation skills. Previous reception experience is desirable but not essential.

As hub receptionist, you will be required to:
Welcome all patients and their family members into the department in a professional manner, making them feel comfortable and at ease and to direct them to the appropriate area.
Answer telephone enquiries in an appropriate manner relaying information to patients and midwives where necessary.Maintain good written and verbal communication between all departments and outside agencies.
Use the computerised patient management system (E-Camis) to access patient details, update information and make antenatal and postnatal appointments.
Photocopy and scan documents/notes as required and manage the department post.
Provide admin support to the community midwives.
Access and print ICE requests in readiness for clinics.
Help maintain hub stock supplies.
Inform Estates/Electronics of any hub maintenance issues.
Ensure blood samples are collected and delivered to the hospital in a timely manner.
Assist in the training of new members of staff.
These duties and responsibilities may be changed in accordance with the needs of the Directorate and in particular the post holder may be required to provide support to other areas within the department as required and to carry out any other relevant duties that may be requested.
