A great development opportunity has arisen within Hays Travel Learning and Development Team

The Learning and Development team is responsible for meeting the needs of the business as well as the individual development needs of all of our colleagues.

This is a fast pace environment that provides a challenging and rewarding role to those who work within it.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Support and develop the L&D assessment team against department KPI's through effective coaching.
  • Deliver effective team meetings/steps to success reviews which are positive and productive boosting motivation and morale.
  • Lead on monthly apprentice performance meetings with DSM's
  • Support new and existing colleagues with their development needs.
  • Attend regular OFSTED and Safeguarding meetings and communicate standards and updates effectively.
  • Work closely with the Learning and Development Team Leader to ensure all practices run effectively through the full team.
  • Support and develop apprentices throughout their learning journey
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current assessment methods and processes and suggest any improvements.
  • Effectively communicate and positively promote organisational changes
  • Knowledge and a high level of competency with department and company technology
  • Be able to selfreflect and identify areas for personal development
  • Motivated 'can do' attitude, who strives for excellence in all areas of their role
  • Exceptional Time Management and Organisational skills
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times

Qualifications & Experience (Essential)

  • Previous experience working within a travel sales role.
  • Previous assessment experience/award
  • Previous managerial/assistant manager experience
  • Previous training experience

Desirable:


  • IQA award
  • Training/ Teaching award

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong initiative skills to drive business objectives forward.
  • Flexible to meet the needs of the business.
  • Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Strong digital skills
  • Assertive/confident classroom management techniques (desirable)
