We are working with a market leading recycling business at their vital Nottingham operation.

The Role

Working as part of a small, motivated team of 4 in the planning department and reporting directly to the Transport Manager.

Responsibilities include:

Planning routes from the Nottingham recycling site on a daily basis.
Adapting routes to changes throughout the day.
Always looking for efficiencies and improvements.
Liaising with the customer, the drivers and the operational team.
Working under deadline pressure.
Been the main point of contact for customers on the day of delivery and retrieval.

Working hours
Monday to Friday.

06:00 - 16:00

The Skills Required

Experience within an aggregates, recycling or construction transport
2 years + transport planning experience
An analytical approach to work
MS Excel proficient user
Ability to be calm under pressure
Degree in Logistics or similar desirable
Highly proficient computer skills
A very customer facing approach.
A fantastic phone manor. Both enthusiastic and clear when speaking with all parties.
Outstanding geographic knowledge of the East Midlands transport network.
