Hours 28 hours per week worked across 5 days a week, between the hours of 8:30am - 5pm


Salary £15,870 per annum

The role:

Our Worcester Department Store Café have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic and passionate individual to join the St Richards Hospice team as a Café Assistant.

A diverse and varied role the applicant will assist in the day to day running of the café department.

The successful applicant will also assist with food preparation and serving meals and drinks to customers, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the department at all times.


This post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and may require supervision of volunteers under the age of 18.


About you:

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, adaptable and able to work on their own initiative. A flexible attitude to working is essential. In addition, you will need to have high standards of customer service and food safety.

You will be working day shifts and working on some Saturdays are expected. Additional hours available to cover holidays and absence as required.


Previous experience in a catering establishment such as a café, bar or restaurant is required and trained Barista experience is preferred however not essential as full training can be provided.
