Description
Working in a fast paced environment the duties are varied to include:

  • Taking responsibility for the coordination and delegation of tasks for Inspection colleagues to ensure the effective inspection of goods.
  • Carry out routine and adhoc supplier audits to ensure supplier team members are adhering to the correct measures and process alongside identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Visiting and collaborating with suppliers to maintain and develop strong working relationships
  • Overseeing and following engineering drawings and specifications to carry out quality checks
  • Dealing with discrepancies and issues in relation to goods received and invoices
  • Lead and support continual improvements to ensure supplier systems and processes to meet business requirements
  • Provide various reports and supplier performance data for management meeting

Person Specification

  • Experience of dealing with suppliers on an International basis
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills
  • Ability to read drawings and specification
  • Advanced IT skills
  • Proven track record of working in Engineering preferred but manufacturing experience is essential
