Shipping Operative - Role Summary:


As a key part of the team based at our Banbury site, you will be responsible for timely and accurate packing & despatch of finished goods in line with customer demand.


More about the role

  • When Packing and Shipping, you will ensure quality of product and packing is to the highest standard as per customer specifications, inclusive of various checks.
  • You will audit shipments by spot checking packing and documents
  • You will also ensure you update the SAP systems 100% ontime every time, to formally despatch the goods, and ensure all records are up to date.
  • You will liaise with external approved transport, optimising delivery schedules and route planning in an economic and efficient way.

  • Problem solving techniques and ability to work on own initiative

Skills that are Essential for this role:

  • PC Literacy with experience using ERP Systems, preferably SAP
  • Understanding of Material specifications/requirements
  • An excellent team worker with the ability and engagement to work towards a common goal

Skills that are desirable in this role:

  • Experience of creating and managing outbound manifest sheets for proof of collection
  • Management of monthly finished goods cycle counts in line with the cycle count process and enter associated results into SAP
