Quality Administrator

Preston

£21,000 per annum


Reporting to the Quality Manager, the purpose of this role is to ensure the day-to-day administration and operation of the companies Integrated Management System is maintained.

Requirements of the sites certification and customer requirements must be met,whilst providing QC administrative support throughout the business and to customers where required.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Team with maintaining the Integrated Management System including document control, conducting traceability tests and internal audits to the required frequency.
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining the product packing specification system including new product set up, creation of outer case labels and approval of artwork.
  • Maintaining the approved supplier system to ensure all required information is present, correct and kept up to date.
  • Ensuring the raw material/packaging specification system is controlled and kept up to date.
  • Support with audits and customer visits
  • Support with nonconformance/complaint investigations
  • Supporting the factory QC Team where required.

Requirements:


  • Can demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • Communicates clearly (both verbal and written) and able to interact with all team members throughout the business.
  • Able to work as part of a cross functional team and manage relationships with others
  • Able to plan, control and prioritise the workload to ensure mínimal impact and delays throughout the process
  • Able to work within a rapidly changing environment and remain calm under pressure.
