Reed Accountancy are seeking an experienced
Payroller/Finance Assistant to join our established client in the Crawley area.
Reporting to the Finance Manager this role will be responsible for processing of UK and overseaspayroll using various platforms.
You will be required to liaise with overseas accounting teamsregarding foreign payroll processing.

You will also upload and maintain Company Pension Scheme and assist the Finance Team in other duties during quiet times.

Core Responsibilities:

Process company's payroll every month (every two weeks for USA)
Create and maintain employee records on Excel spreadsheet and online payroll platforms, managing the data input for starters and leavers and new salaries for promoted staff
Calculate pay for new starters and leavers who have not worked for the full month
Accurate input of commissions, bonuses, any extra payments, or deductions
Complete payroll reports for recordkeeping purposes and managerial review
Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in the payroll records before it is sent for approval
Manage the online Company Pension Scheme. Uploading the monthly contribution requirements, adding new staff details, and removing leavers from the scheme
Daily update and monitoring of Sales Invoicing Spreadsheets
Backup assistance with Accounts Payable Administration

Key requirements

Solid Payroll experience, (ideally working with online platforms)
Must be organised, methodical, accurate, motivated, and able to use own initiative
Be able to maintain attention to detail whilst inputting data, and possess a good eye for detail when checking work
Possess good verbal communication skills, be approachable and supportive
Have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel
Possess a good working knowledge of Sage Payroll, Sage 50, Word, and Outlook 36
Have or are working towards a Finance Qualification is highly desirable
