Machinist/Grinding Operator - Clevedon


Are you looking to join an established, well known Manufacturer? Do you have experience in operating grinding Machines? If yes, this could be the role for you...

Our client, a major manufacturer of bearings for the automotive and aerospace industry, is looking to expand the team.

Due to an increase in load on the Studer (CNC) machine, an opportunity has arisen for additional Operators (Grinding) to join the manufacturing Team on a shift rotation basis.

An attractive salary package with pension, flexi hours, bonus with potential of 10% of salary.


What would you do?

  • Support manufacturing process requirements
  • Work to aerospace quality standards
  • Actively participate and support Manufacturing Excellence
  • Uphold Health and Safety Regulations

What are we looking for?

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings


  • Machine experience

  • Milling, Turing, CNC operations
  • Understanding tolerances torque and measurements
  • Eyesight to J1 (corrected vision if necessary)
  • Ability to work to local quality standards
  • Experience of working in a Manufacturing/Production environment
  • Experience of working on Channel Lines
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing (5s, Material Flow)
